ORBITS
Orbits is a duet written for two synthesizers that draws its inspiration from the rich melodies and interlocking patterns of Ghanaian xylophone music intertwined with the minimalist styles of contemporary music. The piece showcases many polyrhythms and syncopations found in these genres, applying them to the modern keyboard synthesizer. Through a fusion of diverse musical influences, "Orbits" invites listeners to explore the intersections of tradition and innovation.
